Two 4K cameras with Sony STARVIS 2 sensors
Both the front and rear cameras record in 3840 x 2160 pixels using a Sony STARVIS 2 sensor. That type of sensor captures plenty of detail even in low light.
The bright lenses each cover a wide 130° view. This way, the road ahead of you and the traffic behind you are in frame at the same time.
The rear camera sends its image to the main unit via a digital connection. That means no quality is lost along the way.
Night Vision with Night Owl Vision 2.0
Night Owl Vision 2.0 reduces noise and the glare from oncoming headlights. On a dark road, this keeps more of the image usable.
HDR on both cameras keeps the balance between a dark road and bright lighting. You can keep HDR on all the time or run it on a schedule.
Want to fine-tune it yourself? The exposure is manually adjustable. Lumi Vision also keeps your parking footage usable at night.
Parking surveillance with energy-efficient mode of 5 mA
In the energy-saving parking mode, the A900 Ultra uses just 5 mA. With the separately available 70mai Battery Pack Mini, 70mai says the camera can stay on guard for up to 30 days.
AI motion detection on both cameras starts recording the moment something happens around your car. Collision detection captures every bump, even the one from a shopping cart.
For now, the energy-saving mode switches on automatically. According to 70mai, a manual switch is coming via a software update.
Download via WiFi 6 to the 70mai app
With dual-band WiFi 6, the app downloads recordings at up to 45 MB per second, according to 70mai. A 240 MB video is on your phone in about five seconds.
The memory card simply stays in the camera. In the app you can view the footage and share it.
With the separately available 4G Hardwire Kit, you get cloud features too, such as remote viewing, automatic cloud backup in the event of an incident, and checking your car's parking location. Some of these require a subscription.
