4K recording front and rear with a 140° viewing angle
Both cameras record in 3840 x 2160 pixels at 30 frames per second. At that resolution, license plates and traffic signs stay readable even at a distance, and that's often the detail that makes the difference in a damage claim.
The 140° field of view covers multiple lanes. So the car merging next to you is in frame too, just like whatever's happening in the lane beside it.
HDR works on both cameras and keeps bright skies and dark roads in balance. The bright f/1.55 aperture captures more light than your average dashcam lens.
Night Vision with Night Owl Vision and Lumi Vision
Night Owl Vision is 70mai's own night vision algorithm. It keeps recordings on unlit roads crisp and clear, without headlights washing out the image.
Lumi Vision compensates for reflections and tinted windshields, a classic dashcam problem. And with HDR on top, you keep detail in the darker parts of the image too.
You'll notice it most when you play back an evening drive. You can still see what happened, even on the stretches without any street lighting.
Built-in GPS and 3.18-inch screen
The built-in GPS records your route, speed and time alongside the footage. That way, if you ever have to file a damage claim, you'll have more than just a clip: you can also show where you were driving and how fast.
On the 3.18-inch screen you can line up the camera during installation and play back recordings right away. You don't need your phone for that.
With voice commands you can take a photo or start a recording while on the road, without taking your hands off the wheel. The voice control understands English, not Dutch.
Download via WiFi 6 to the 70mai app
Thanks to dual-band Wi-Fi 6, you can transfer recordings at around 25 MB per second, according to 70mai. The memory card simply stays in your car.
In the 70mai app, you can view the footage and share it, for example with your insurer.
Want more? With the separately available 4G Hardwire Kit, you can add cloud features. Think of remote viewing and an automatic cloud backup in case of an incident.
