Quiet enough for the bedroom

In sleep mode, the sound stays below 30.7 dB, quieter than soft rain. With 13W power consumption, it can easily run all night. You can turn off the display and notification sounds via the app.

A tank that easily lasts through the night

You fill the 5-liter tank from the top with tap water, without having to detach anything. The viewing window lets you see the water level, and when it's nearly empty you get a notification. In sleep mode, it lasts around 20 hours on a single fill.

Clean water without a second thought

Silver ions in the tank inhibit the growth of bacteria, and the washable 3D filter is antibacterial too. To fight limescale, run the descaling program with a descaling agent. That way, only clean water goes into the air.

This way you keep it fresh

Rinse the filter and tank about once a week. The filter can go in the washing machine, but not above 40 °C and not in the dryer. Replace it every 6 to 12 months and unplug it before you refill.

600 ml per hour, no mist

Vaporizing instead of misting

This humidifier works the way nature does: a fan blows air through a wet filter, so only water vapour enters the room. That means you won't see a visible mist plume, and no moisture settles on your furniture or windows. Evaporation has another advantage: air that's already humid enough naturally absorbs less water, so you won't end up with a clammy room. At 600 ml per hour, it's suitable for rooms from 20 to 30 m².

Target humidity of 40 to 70%

Keeps humidity at the right level

In the Xiaomi Home app, set a target humidity between 40 and 70% and the built-in sensor handles the rest: the humidifier switches itself on and off to stay at that level. The display on top shows you the current humidity right away. Besides the constant mode, there's a sleep mode, a turbo mode to quickly bring a dry room up to level, and a drying program that dries the interior after use. You can also control it with your voice via Google Assistant or Alexa.

FAQ about the Xiaomi Smart Evaporative Humidifier Pro

Can't find your question here? Email or call us, we're happy to help you out.

How large can the room be for the Xiaomi Smart Evaporative Humidifier Pro?

With 600 ml per hour, it's suitable for rooms from 20 to 30 m². In a dry room, you switch on turbo mode to quickly bring the humidity up to the right level.

How long does the Xiaomi Smart Evaporative Humidifier Pro last on a full tank?

In sleep mode, it runs for about 20 hours on the 5-liter tank. When the tank is nearly empty, you'll get a notification in the Xiaomi Home app.

Won't it get too humid indoors with the Xiaomi Smart Evaporative Humidifier Pro?

No. You set a target humidity between 40 and 70% and the sensor switches the humidifier on and off by itself. Because it evaporates rather than mists, air that's already humid enough naturally absorbs less water, and no moisture settles on furniture or windows.

How often do you replace the filter of the Xiaomi Smart Evaporative Humidifier Pro?

Every 6 to 12 months, depending on how often the humidifier runs. In between, rinse the filter about once a week, by hand or in the washing machine, in water of no more than 40 °C. It's normal for the filter to turn a bit yellow.
