Headphones that need a charge every few days end up in a drawer after a month. The Xiaomi Redmi Headphones Neo plays up to 72 hours of music on a single charge, turning charging into something you only do now and then. Meanwhile, the active noise cancellation of up to 42 dB keeps the train and the open-plan office out of your music, and you can switch it on or off with a single tap on the earcup.

Man luistert met gesloten ogen naar muziek op de zwarte Xiaomi Redmi Headphones Neo

40 mm drivers with powerful bass

Two 40 mm drivers with a titanium-coated diaphragm deliver bass with serious punch. In the Xiaomi Earbuds app, you can pick an equalizer preset or fine-tune the sound yourself. Via USB-C, you listen wired in Hi-Res quality.

Make calls and switch between devices

Three microphones use AI to filter your voice from the surrounding noise, even in windy conditions. Thanks to Bluetooth 5.4, you're connected to two devices at once. If you get a call while watching a series on your laptop, they switch straight over to your phone.

Light enough for a whole workday

At 263 grams, the Neo is light for an over-ear headphone. The ear cushions have a breathable finish, so your ears won't sweat. The telescopic headband fits snugly, and that also helps with the noise cancellation.

Get more out of your headphones

Install the Xiaomi Earbuds app for the equalizer and noise cancellation. For wired listening you need a USB-C cable that also transfers data; that's not included in the box. Fast charging only works when the battery is nearly empty.

Up to 72 hours of playtime

A battery that counts in days

With noise cancellation off, the Neo plays music for up to 72 hours on a single charge. That's a week of commuting plus a few evenings on the couch without ever thinking about a cable. And if you do find the battery running low, ten minutes on the charger gives you another five hours of playtime, enough to get you through the rest of the day. Charging is done via USB-C.

Noise cancellation up to 42 dB

Noise gone with one tap

The active noise cancellation goes down to 42 dB and has three levels, plus an adaptive mode that measures how much noise is around you and adjusts the dampening accordingly. On the train you can crank it up a bit, in the office a little lighter. Switching is done with a single tap on the earbud, without reaching for your phone. You set the levels via the Xiaomi Earbuds app.

FAQ about the Xiaomi Redmi Headphones Neo

Can't find your question here? Email or call us, we're happy to help you out.

How long do the Xiaomi Redmi Headphones Neo last on a single charge?

With noise cancellation off, up to 72 hours of music. If the battery is nearly empty, just ten minutes on the charger already gives you five hours of playtime. Charging is done via USB-C.

Can you use the Xiaomi Redmi Headphones Neo wired?

Yes, via USB-C, and then you listen in higher quality; it's Hi-Res certified. Do use a USB-C cable that also transfers data, because a plain charging cable won't work for that. There's no cable included in the box.

Can you connect the Xiaomi Redmi Headphones Neo to two devices at the same time?

Yes. Via Bluetooth 5.4 it's connected to two devices at the same time, and that feature is on by default. If the sound stutters in an app, temporarily turn off the dual connection in the Xiaomi Earbuds app.

How do you set up noise cancellation on the Xiaomi Redmi Headphones Neo?

With a single tap on the earbud, you switch noise cancellation on or off. In the Xiaomi Earbuds app, you can choose from three levels or the adaptive mode, which adjusts the suppression itself to the noise around you.
