xiaomi-70mai-obd-ii-hardwire-kit
Xiaomi 70mai OBD-II Hardwire Kit

The Xiaomi 70mai OBD-II Hardwire Kit is made for drivers who want parking surveillance but don't feel like dealing with fuse boxes, cables and technical work. By connecting the kit directly to your car's OBD port, your dashcam gets continuous power for parking mode without having to modify your car's wiring. That makes the installation simple, safe and perfectly suited for when you have a bit less experience.

Simple installation

An OBD connection comes standard in nearly every car, usually under the dashboard. The installation requires no tools or knowledge of electrics. You plug the OBD connector into the port, connect the other end to the dashcam and switch on parking mode. This gives you continuous surveillance within seconds, without needing to use the 12V connection or run cables to the fuse box.

Warranty and insurance conditions

Because you don't change anything about the car's original wiring, your vehicle warranty stays intact. Insurers often appreciate this too, since there are no modifications that could introduce risks. For lease cars or company vehicles, the OBD-II Hardwire Kit is therefore a safe and permitted way to use parking mode.

Adjustable voltage protection

To protect your vehicle's battery, the kit has an adjustable voltage threshold. The power supply is automatically cut off when the battery voltage drops below the set level. You can choose from four voltage settings, depending on how long you want the dashcam to record while the car is parked. This way you prevent a dead battery, even during longer parking periods.

Adjustable recording time

In addition to voltage protection, you can also set the recording time of parking mode via the DIP switches. You choose from six durations, ranging from short parking to long-term surveillance (8 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours, unlimited). That way you match the duration to your parking times without the camera recording longer than you need.

Multiple battery protection features

The Xiaomi 70mai OBD-II Hardwire Kit includes multiple forms of battery protection. In case of excessive current, the kit automatically switches off (overcurrent and overload). In case of incorrect connection or a short circuit, the power is cut off immediately. These protections help prevent damage to the car or dashcam and make the kit safe for daily use.

Practical in use

The cable has a length of 4 meters, so you can easily tuck it away along the dashboard. The kit is suitable for all 12V and 24V systems and works with all 70mai dashcams. You don't need a separate adapter: the kit delivers stable 5V power at 2.4A via USB-C.

Plug-and-play via the OBD port

Enables parking protection on your dashcam

No modifications to the fuse box or wiring

Adjustable recording time across six levels

4-meter cable for a tidy installation

Works with all Xiaomi 70mai dashcams

Suitable for 12V and 24V systems

Order the Xiaomi 70mai OBD-II Hardwire Kit online now!
